How Yeast Infections Are Caused

Four Leading Causes In Yeast Infections

Yeast infections in women can come and go as they please. How you ask? There are many different ways yeast can become more active in a certain area, usually the vagina. Below I will discuss four ways yeast infections can come about.

Antibiotics

Antibiotics are said to be one of the leading causes for yeast infections. When taking certain medicine, lets say for a sinus infections, it may cure your sinus infection but at the same time could eliminate some good bacteria in your body. Without certain bacteria's, the yeast begins to take over, causing yeast infections.

Clothing

Women often get yeast infections of the vagina. This can be caused by tight, dirt clothes that contain heat and moisture. Yeast can live in your clothes, underwear etc. and when moving around creating heat, and moisture gets involved, it just gets worse.

Condoms

A lot of condoms come packaged with a chemical inside that is suppose to help fight HIV. But studies have proven that this chemical, known as "nonoxynol-9", has lead to yeast infections.

Chemicals

With all these crazy products coming out now of days, who knows what's in them for chemicals. A lot of toilet papers, soap, odor prevention formulas etc. may contain chemicals that kill good bacteria in your crotch area. Like stated above, these good bacteria's could be what prevents the yeast from growing.

There are many other things that can cause yeast infections. A Yeast infection treatment is out there somewhere, along with a yeast infection home remedy. To learn more about yeast infections, and how to help cure them, visit:
